- Q1: Distance MBA over a conventional one?
Ans: Distance MBA is easier in terms of the flexibility it provides to you. However, you should ensure that you take the program seriously just as you would a conventional program. Make sure that you study throughout the year rather than rushing before exams and submit all your assignments on time. One of the biggest advantages of distance MBA, i.e., no fixed schedule can turn out to be its biggest disadvantage for you if you are not self-disciplined and focussed.
- Q2: Will I need to take classes once I enroll for a distance MBA at ICFAI?
Ans: Self-study is very much important and this particular program is particularly based on self-study, although counseling classes are also organized. The University provides the requisite study materials. Optional training classes are also provided, which cost approx Rs 12,000/- extra.
