Introduction 

IIM Indore is an autonomous public business institution situated in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. It was established in 1996 as the 6th IIM school in India. Admission Process

Candidates will be required to apply online through the institution’s admission portal. After filling all the details, they must pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 5000 within 24 hours after applying. All shortlisted candidates will be invited for an Aptitude test and personal interview.

After the interview process, successful candidates will be informed through their emails. They will be selected based on work experience, aptitude test, personal interview results, and academic credentials. Additionally, they must pay the commitment fee within the stipulated timelines to reserve their seat.

Pedagogy

Lecturers pass information to students through a mix of project work, lectures, role-play, case discussions, term papers, seminar presentations, simulations, management games, and assignments. All students will be required to undertake core, elective courses, and an international immersion program. Successful completion leads to the award of Master of Business Administration degree.

Eligibility

• All prospective candidates must have a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent from a UGC-recognized institution.
• They must also possess a minimum of 5 years of managerial/professional post-graduation experience.
• Additionally, the programme is open to candidates from all nationalities and does not have age limits.

2. General Management Programme for Executive (GMPE)

Course Objectives

GMPE programme is designed to help working professionals learn unique techniques ideal for developing business models and management theories. The participants acquire a global outlook on data analysis and business decision-making.

 

Admission Process

Interested candidates can access application forms from the institution’s website. They must fill in all details and provide the necessary documents before the deadline. All shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview. The final list will be prepared based on the candidate’s performance in the personal interview, academic credentials, and the quality of work experience.

Pedagogy

The programme integrates technology in information dissemination. Lecturers use unique teaching techniques, including face-to-face lectures, management games, podcasts, live sessions, and group discussions. Additionally, all students must undertake projects, group assignments, seminar presentations, and end-term examinations. Classes are held on Sundays only (every Sunday has 5 sessions of 75 minutes each).

Eligibility

Prospective candidates must have 2-10 years of work experience based on the academic background. They are classified as follows:

• Professional qualifications (such as CA, ICWAI, and ACS) should have 2 years of work experience
• Post Graduate/ Engineering degrees/ Professional degrees should have at least 3 years of work experience
• Other degree holders (B.A, B.Com, and B.Sc) should have 5 years of work experience
• Diploma holders must have a minimum of 10 years of work experience.

Batch Profile

Students have professional working experience ranging from below 10 years to over 20 years, with the majority (approximately 34%) having 10-15 years of managerial post-graduation work experience. The batch comprises students with different academic backgrounds, including B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc/B.Arch B.Com/BBA/M.Com, MBA, and CA/ACCA.

3. Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP)

 

Admission Process

Candidates must submit their online application before the stipulated deadline and pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 5,900. Immediately after the application phase, candidates will be shortlisted on merit. All shortlisted candidates will be required to attend personal interviews at New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, or Indore. Skype interviews may also be organized for international candidates.

The final list of successful candidates is prepared based on the composite score of each candidate. The GMAT score contributes 50% while the performance in the personal interview contributes 50%. Successful candidates will be informed through their official email addresses. They will be required to pay Rs 1,00,000 commitment fee before the deadline.

Pedagogy

This programme uses a unique mix of case discussions, term papers, management games, simulations, role-play, seminars, podcasts, and assignments to impart skills to students. It comprises five academic terms and one international immersion programme at a top-ranking university. After completing the programme, students will be awarded a Masters in Business Administration degree.

International Immersion Details

This module is conducted in collaboration with one of the best international business institutions. It is spread over one academic term within which students will acquire global business techniques and interact with experts. Some of the topics handled include family business management, design thinking, luxury management, private equity & venture capital, innovation management, infrastructure finance, and digital management.

• Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) from a UGC-recognized institution with a minimum of 50% mark aggregate.
