Introduction

MTWU is a government-owned institution of higher learning that was designed to empower women in Kodaikanal and environs through education.

The school was founded in 1984 through the enactment of Tamil Nadu Act 15. MTWU offers distance education courses through the Directorate of Distance Education.

Types of Courses

The courses offered through the distance mode at MTWU include:

Duration

Besides the PGDCA, all courses have a duration period of two years. PGDCA takes one year to complete.

How Can I Apply

Candidates can get the application forms by downloading them from MTWU’s website at www.motherteresawomenuniv.ac.in. You will need to pay the sum of Rs. 250 (SC/ST) or Rs. 500 (others) for the form if you are submitting it in person.

If you prefer to send it by post, you should ensure to attach the required amount in the form of a Demand Draft drawn in favor of the university. However, the amount rises to Rs. 300 (SC/ST) and Rs. 550 (others) respectively.
