The programme is classified into three levels spread within 18 weeks. The levels are as shown below:

Level one (week 1-6)

2. Advanced PGP in Data Science and Machine Learning (Part-Time)

Course Objectives

This programme is designed to equip students with engineering and professional competencies in data analysis. Students get hands-on skills working with Git, statistical tools, and CRISP-DM. This programme comprises level 2 and level 3 data science. It requires that you have the basics of computer programming and data handling. If you have no experience, you should undertake the Full-Time Programme for level 1 (as shown in the full-time curriculum).

3. Data Science Foundation Program (Part-Time)

Course Objectives

This is a level 1 data science programme that introduces students to the basics of data analysis and management. Additionally, participants will be introduced to Python, Excel, and RDBMS.

Programme Curriculum

The programme introduces students to Excel and Python statistical tools. It equips them with skills to analyse discrete & structured data, apply descriptive & inferential statistical tools, and summarise data in charts for easy decision-making. Additionally, students will be trained to work with RDBMS to manage data.

4. Data Science Foundation Program (Full Time)

Course Objectives

The programme equips participants with the requisite skills to become competent data analysis professionals. It targets working professionals with an interest in data analytics and safety. By the end of the programme, the participants will be able to use statistical tools to analyze, store, and interpret data.

Course Duration: 6 weeks

Type of Course/ Medium: Online full time immersive

Programme Curriculum

This is an immersive programme that utilizes online lectures, recorded lectures, assignments, projects, seminars, and podcasts to impart data analysis skills to participants. It introduces students to statistical tools such as Python, Tableau, and Excel. Additionally, the programme incorporates modules in communication and articulation skills to build confidence in all its participants and boost their managerial skills.

Admission Process

  • Prospective candidates are required to fill in an online application form and submit it before the deadline.
  • After submission, candidates will go through a screening process where they will be subjected to an aptitude test and an English test.
  • NIIT admission panel will review the application and intimate all successful candidates through their email addresses/phone numbers.
  • Successful candidates will be required to pay the applicable programme fee to reserve their seats. If the student intends to pay using the EMI option, they must deposit 10% of the total fee (non-refundable) as a commitment fee.

These programmes are 100% online offered with Mentor-led live sessions. It incorporates two-way audio-video virtual platforms in real-time. Students will be required to log in using their portals to access live sessions, assignments, and recorded lectures.
