The syllabus follows a semester system where each course is assigned credits. One credit equals one contact hour per week. Students will be required to attend more than 75% of the total credit hours to complete the programme.

The programme is classified into three disciplines, each following independent eligibility criteria as shown below:

|Computational Biology/ Life Sciences/ Bioinformatics||Candidates must have a strong academic background in life sciences, Bioinformatics & Computational Biology, or Life Sciences/Biotechnology (with a bias on informatics).|
|Computer Sciences/ Engineering||Candidates must have a background in any Engineering discipline (including IT) with a bias in computational data analytics.|
