The students who complete the distance course do not become eligible for regular course placement support.

It is professionally managed and has a reasonable fee structure. It also has pan India presence, which makes it easy for students to shift their location regularly. If you are looking for private options for doing distance education in the field of business. On the other hand, the support is not the best.

Another common question that students care about is the private vs distance MBA debate. Which one should I choose? It all boils down to your priorities in life. If you want to go for a government job, then obviously going for a government – backed distance MBA is imp, since you will never run into accreditation issue. Otherwise, private is great because the admission, enrolment etc. is smooth. Fee is another factor because government colleges tend to be way cheaper.

Any application for termination after the due date will result in the student forfeiting their fee refund.

Q14: When can I access the assignments? What if I fail?

Answer: Assignments are released in the second month of every semester. Students must clear the fee to access the assignments.

Students who fail the assignments are required to retake them within the stipulated timelines. If you appear for more than two attempts, you will be required to pay for the retakes.

Q15: Symbiosis Distance Learning vs IMT Ghaziabad Distance MBA – Which one is better? 

For the distance MBA niche, we do feel that Symbiosis has an edge over IMT due to its brand name. If you are applying for a job, this can certainly help you in the long run. From the content perspective, IMT for now does not have an entrance exact so that can be useful if you do not want to take a chance.

Q16: What’s the fuss about Distance vs Online MBA? 

Online MBA is not yet recognised in India, though some colleges have started experimenting with this format. Even IIM Ahmedabad has started an eMBA, but it’s a fully engrossed course in India. The way things are moving with respect to distance MBA in India, it seems like the days of correspondence learning are limited. Eventually, Online MBAs with an intense in-person workaround would dominate the landscape. As to when it happens, it’s not clear but that’s the direction that our education industry is moving towards.
